The Indiana Pacers have signed Cameron Payne, the team announced Thursday.

Payne, who appeared in 72 games for the New York Knicks last season, now joins the Pacers on a training camp deal.

Payne averaged 6.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 40% from the field and 36% from three last season. However, his numbers dipped in the postseason, where he averaged 2.1 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 14 games, eventually falling out of the rotation during the Eastern Conference Finals.

Payne was selected 14th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2015 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls at the 2017 deadline and went on to have stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and Philadelphia 76ers prior to signing with the Knicks.
